Day: Haiku-ing it Home

Since we had a 12+ hour drive home, we decided to write one haiku an hour today to pass the time. Enjoy.

8:45: good morning georgia !
goergia is long and boring.
waffle house for lunch

9:45: molly loves haikus
we are being sarcastic
bring on waffle house

10:45: stopped to potty
got cheezits and cookies
still no waffle house


11:45: now in Tennessee
now we are making legos
where is waffle house?!?!

12:45: charlie did some math
plus molly did some reading
equals lets eat waffles

1:45  Waffle house at last
but nobody got waffles
bathroom was scary

2:45 in kentucky now
molly is asleep in car
charlie plays penguin

3:45 kentucky is long
molly has a tummyache
i want to get home

4:45 endless kentucky
waffle house nearly killed us
thank God for truckstops

Molly's tummyache was cured by a reeses pieces peanut butter cup

5:45 Oh, Cincinnati
Ohio is the longest
the end is in sight

6:45 We are slap-happy
Mom might lose it really soon
The kids love their shoes

7:45 Please be more patient
We might all kill each other
12 hours is too long

8:45 Michigan is close
what a sweet trip we have had
